Anna York

Anna York

Anna lives in Newtown with her husband, Daniel, young son, and dog Maevis. She has worked with government organisations, at all levels, for more than 10 years – in state government to protect our natural environment, and later in the private sector to support major government reform.

She has a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and currently works to support the empowerment of Indigenous communities.

As a young mum, Anna knows the importance of services like the Magic Yellow Bus, Fanny Durack Pool, and Rhyme Time at Stanmore Library.

Anna is committed to making the new Inner West Council work, so that all local residents can access high-quality, well run services, and have a say about local decisions.
